Trevor Rutar is the CEO of Kraken Financial, bringing over 20 years of experience in finance, spanning management, operations, and lending across Fortune 25 banking, regional credit unions, and digital asset banking. Before assuming the CEO role, he led operations at Kraken Financial and was instrumental in shaping the company’s infrastructure. Prior to joining Kraken Financial, Trevor served as Chief Lending Officer at Meridian Trust, where he successfully expanded the loan portfolio, diversified asset allocation, increased profitability, and maintained strong credit quality. He previously spent a decade at Wells Fargo Bank in management and operational leadership roles. Trevor has contributed to the financial industry through board service and by testifying before governing bodies on banking and digital asset regulations. Recognized for his leadership, he was named a "20 in their Twenties" honoree by the Chamber of Commerce and a "40 Under 40" by the Wyoming Business Report. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming, with minors in Bank Management and Finance.
